Extension of lockdown or not: President to lay matters to rest in tonight’s address

    PRESIDENT ADDRESSES THE NATION TONIGHT

President Akufo-Addo is expected to clear the air, discussions on whether or not there will be an extension of the partial lockdown imposed on parts of the country.

The televised address which is the sixth in a series of addresses to the nation in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic is expected to provide the latest update with regards to the nation’s fight against the deadly disease.
Already, some parts of Ghana including  Greater Accra, Greater Kumasi and Kasoa have been placed on a partial lockdown in a bid to curb the spread of the viral outbreak.

Scheduled to take place at 10:30pm, the address is expected to give stock of the measures implemented so far, while also providing additional ones, if the need arise.
