        Lack of sleep is 'never' healthy. The human body can tolerate a certain amount of sleep deficit. Once you start accumulating this sleep deficit, it can lead to several problems.
    The first thing that you may notice is fatigue. You start to feel tired more easily. As time progresses, you are likely to make more mistakes in whatever you are doing, even in simple day to day activities.
      Higher sleep deprivation can lead to disturbances in appetite, mood swings, other mental health disturbances, hormonal imbalances etc. Finally, you should be aware that the body can only take a certain amount of abuse.
      At some point, you will fall asleep involuntarily. This can be quite dangerous if it happens while you are driving or operating heavy machinery or when you are present at a height or near water.
