State Of Emergency To Be Declared Soon In Ghana

According to our sources, some experts are fronting for the shut down of Ghana as they have advised the president to do so before it is too late.

These experts have argued that the increasing confirmed cases of corona virus are beginning to overwhelm them. Hence, if nothing is done about it soon, things might go out of hand.
Ghana has confirmed 19 cases so far and more are expected to be confirmed in the coming days.
Many have argued that if community spread of the disease takes place, Ghana will be in deep crisis. Hence, an immediate lock down will be the only solution to prevent a community outbreak.

Extension of lockdown or not: President to lay matters to rest in tonight’s address

DERKYI #SPREADCALMNOTFEAR     PRESIDENT ADDRESSES THE NATION TONIGHT President Akufo-Addo is expected to clear the air, discussions on whether or not there will be an extension of the partial lockdown imposed on parts of the country. The televised address which is the sixth in a series of addresses to the nation in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic is expected to provide the latest update with regards to the nation’s fight against the deadly disease. Already, some parts of Ghana including  Greater Accra, Greater Kumasi and Kasoa have been placed on a partial lockdown in a bid to curb the spread of the viral outbreak. Scheduled to take place at 10:30pm, the address is expected to give stock of the measures implemented so far, while also providing additional ones, if the need arise.

Romero Set for Juventus Medical on Tuesday

 Cristian Romero a defender for Genoa is set to undergo a medical with Juventus on Tuesday ahead of a move to the Serie A champions, as per reports. Following the medical, Romero will sign a contract through 2024 with Juventus, but then return on loan with Genoa for the 2019-20 season. While Juventus wait on the completion of a Matthijs de Ligt deal with Ajax and a €15 million (£13m/$17m) move for former Sassuolo defender Merih Demiral already completed, Juve’s depth chart in defence had already been filled out. As it currently stands, there is no place for the 21-year-old Romero among those ranks this season. Therefore, the Bianconeri have decided it is better for the Argentine’s development for him to continue to feature at Genoa for the coming season, after making a strong impression in his debut campaign at the club.
